Řeka & The Boband

Come and enjoy an evening packed with live music under the open sky! On Thursday 27 August, the Summer Stage at the Eurocentrum in Jablonec will host a full-scale double bill featuring the bands Řeka and The Boband. Come and enjoy the wonderful summer atmosphere. You’ll hear emotionally charged original songs as well as authentic rock and acoustic versions of iconic Dylan classics.

The event is part of the 12th edition oftheJablonecké tónyfestival.

Through both their music and their name,the band Řekaworks with emotion, change and tension. Their music reflects life as it bursts to the surface – sometimes with intensity and a clamour, at other times calmly and quietly – and naturally bears the imprint of the 1990s, the decade in which the band members grew up. In their work, they navigate between fragments of memories, contemporary themes and personal expression, and their music is founded above all on authenticity and sincere expression.

The Bobandis a Czech-German-Australian group of musicians, brought together by chance from other bands, who play rock and acoustic versions of Bob Dylan’s songs from the 1960s and 1970s. No ‘tribute band’, no ‘revival’… just pure joy.
