An exhibition as a testimony to work that is searching for its form

The Department of Design at the Faculty of Textile Engineering of the Technical University of Liberec invites you to a showcase of semester work by bachelor's and master's students. Open studios represent a moment when the creative process becomes a shared space — when works created in the silence of workshops and studios begin to communicate with the public.

Under the guidance of the department's teachers, a diverse range of projects has been created that showcase not only the technical skills of the students, but also their personal touch, doubts, courage and search for new forms of expression. The exhibition opens the door to a process that is never linear: it is an exploration of the boundaries of material, thinking and the medium of design itself.

The open studios are a short-term but intense window into the current thinking of the young generation of designers. Each project is different — but they are all united by the effort to find true expression. The exhibition is not just a showcase of results. It is an opportunity to glimpse the path that shapes design.
