Event timetable

9.00 am: opening of heritage sites, family trail stations and the market on Mírové náměstí 9.00 am–4.30 pm: family discovery trail with tasks following the trail of water 9.30 am–5.00 pm: sightseeing tours on a historic bus 10.00–18.00:cultural programme on Mírové Square to mark the 160th anniversary of Jablonec nad Nisou’s elevation to town status 10.00–12.00:guided walk exploring art in public spaces. Pavel Karous and Jan Picko (PLAC association) will guide you through artworks from the 1970s to the 1990s. Meet by the sculpture ‘Woman with Shopping’ in front of the Central shopping centre. Duration: approx. 1½ hours. 11.00Guided tour of GB Beads 13.00Lecture: 160 Years of Architectural Development in Jablonec (Municipal Library) 14.30Get creative with Eva Rydlová (GB Beads) 16.00Book launch: ‘Živý Jablonec – Gablonz’ (House of Czech-German Understanding) 16.30: Closing of the information points along the discovery trail (prizes at the finish – Tourist Information at the Town Hall – can be collected until 17.00) 17.00: Closing of historic buildings

You can start the trail at any staffed checkpoint, where you will receive a game sheet:

You will receive your reward for completing at least five tasks at the finish line in the Town Hall, at the Tourist Information Centre (open until 5.00 pm).
