Description of the place

The new town hall in Jablonec nad Nisou (seat of the municipal authority) was built between 1931 and 1933 and will particularly delight admirers of functionalism.
It is an outstanding work of Czechoslovak interwar architecture, whose artistic and historical qualities clearly transcend the region and rightly rank it among the most valuable buildings of its kind in our country. The ground floor houses a branch of the tourist information centre. Opening hours are listed above.

During the summer holidays, the viewing platform on the town hall tower is open. There are also special tours of the renovated meeting rooms. The basement of the building houses the fully functional Kino Radnice cinema.
