Description of the place

The house (originally a rectory belonging to St. Anne's Church) is named after its former owners, ethnographers Jana and Josef V. Scheybal. After their death, the town renovated the house and converted it into a multipurpose cultural and information centre. The ground floor houses a tourist information centre, the first floor houses the MY Municipal Gallery, and the attic houses an exhibition space.
The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in Jablonec nad Nisou offers visitors and local residents services and comprehensive tourist information about the town, the region and the Jizera Mountains. The opening hours listed apply to the tourist information centre. Other areas of the House are open according to current exhibitions.
