The exhibition *The North Wind Brings Colours* presents contemporary works by artists associated with northern Bohemia, bringing together different generations, media and artistic approaches, and creating a space for dialogue between them.

The exhibition *The North Wind Brings Colours* presents a cross-section of contemporary work across various media – from drawing and printmaking through to objects, new technologies and multimedia forms. The selected artists are linked by their connections to northern Bohemia, whether through their studies, professional background or personal ties to the Liberec and Jablonec regions. The exhibition features both established artists with a prominent position on the Czech art scene and emerging artists whose work brings fresh impetus and new perspectives.

*The North Wind Carries Colours* presents contemporary art as a space of flow – of ideas, experiences and visual languages that are constantly transforming and re-establishing themselves within the landscape of northern Bohemia. The curatorial concept is based on the metaphor of the north wind as an invisible yet defining force.

Part of a performance with Jan Krtička as part of the ‘Be Creative with…’ series . The multimedia artist works with sound in his spatial installations and succeeds in transforming not only the space itself but also the way it is perceived.
