THE WALL THAT UNITES: Community celebration and grand opening of the mural

On Thursday 12 June from 4.30 pm, Anenské náměstí in Jablonec nad Nisou will host the community celebration THE WALL THAT UNITES, combined with the grand opening of a new mural created by young people, the local community and street artist Chemis as part of the international STAR 2.0 project.

The project uses art as a tool to strengthen community ties, actively engage young people and revitalise public spaces. Through collaborative creation, a work of art has been produced that symbolises cooperation, creativity and the connection between different groups of people in the town.

The programme will include the official unveiling of the mural, music and dance performances, a meet-and-greet with the artists, presentations by the participating organisations, and refreshments for visitors. The event is open to anyone who wants to enjoy a pleasant afternoon filled with art, music, inspiration and neighbourly get-togethers.

The STAR 2.0 project is being implemented in Jablonec nad Nisou in collaboration with the organisations Krajanka, Vikýř and Kruháč.

Admission to the event is free.
