Family gathering

Rodináda – The inaugural edition of the Rodináda family festival invites everyone – children, parents, grandparents and friends – to a day when the town will be transformed into one big space for meeting, entertainment and shared moments.

The festival will take place on Saturday 13 June 2026 on Palackého Street and around the Jablonec Dam.

You can look forward to good food, a cultural programme and plenty of shared experiences.

Vikýř will set up a station where children and parents can try out various games, physical and creative activities. The Youth Parliament will organise a sports competition with unexpected obstacles for teams.

The whole area will come alive with a market and food festival, filled with the aroma of delicious food, local specialities and handcrafted goods. Visitors can also look forward to a varied programme of activities spread throughout the festival grounds. The popular mums’ pushchair race won’t be missing either, promising plenty of laughs.

And what else is there to look forward to? Sports stations, yoga, a children’s trampoline, outdoor games and disc golf, face painting, airbrush tattoos, bouncy attractions, bumper balls, and the chance to try your hand at driving an excavator.

The programme will also feature street art activities from the STAR 2.0 project. A chill zone will be set up by the Volt Brewery, offering comfortable seating and a space for peaceful get-togethers.

Rodináda aims to become a new tradition of a family festival in the heart of the city.

The event is organised by DDM Vikýř in collaboration with Kultura Jablonec, p.o. and the Youth Parliament of the City of Jablonec nad Nisou.

It is held with the financial support of the Statutory City of Jablonec nad Nisou.
