Family gathering



On Saturday 13 June 2026, Palackého Street and the area around the Jablonec Dam will come alive with the very first edition of the Rodináda family festival. The event invites all generations – children, parents, grandparents and friends – to enjoy a day full of joy, activity and shared experiences.



Visitors can look forward to a varied programme spread across the entire festival route. There will be creative and physical activities, sports stations, outdoor games, yoga, a children’s trampoline, disc golf, as well as the ever-popular face painting and airbrush tattoos. There will also be bouncy attractions, bumper balls and the unusual opportunity to try your hand at driving a digger.



Another major attraction will be the mums’ pushchair race and a team obstacle course organised by the Youth Parliament. Entertainment on stage will be provided by a music and supporting programme for both children and adults.



The whole area will be filled with the aromas of markets and a food festival offering local specialities, products and crafts. A cosy chill-out zone for relaxation and quiet get-togethers will be set up by the Volt Brewery. The festival will also feature street art activities as part of the STAR 2.0 project.



Rodináda aims to become a new tradition in the heart of Jablonec – a place where people meet, have fun and spend time together.



The event is organised by DDM Vikýř in collaboration with Kultura Jablonec and the Youth Parliament of Jablonec nad Nisou, with the support of the city council.
