Description of the event
To mark the 155th anniversary of the birth of Josef Zasche, a native of Jablonec and a leading figure in modern architecture, we invite you to a guided tour of his first church for his hometown.
The Old Catholic Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is one of the purest examples of Art Nouveau religious architecture in Central Europe. This exceptional work will be presented in the context of Zasche’s oeuvre and the spiritual climate of the town.
We will meet on Monday 13 July at 4 pm in front of the church on Božena Němcová Square. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets:
Standard: 100 CZK
Seniors over 65, students (only at the Eurocentrum ticket office): 70 CZK
Tickets can be purchased online (link above) or at the Eurocentrum reception. The maximum group capacity is 30 people.
