ABOUT ANIČKA FROM THE MILL

A musical fairy tale about a greedy miller’s wife who, with the help of hell, wants to get what does not belong to her. She decided to deprive honest, kind little Anička of her mill. But she had miscalculated, because she had no idea that the water sprite from the mill stream had taken a liking to Anička and decided to help her. The miller’s wife cried out far and wide for help from hell itself, but as is often the case in fairy tales, good ultimately triumphs over evil.
