Opening of the International Triennial of Glass and Jewellery

The State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou has organised the next edition of the JABLONEC 2026 International Triennial of Glass and Jewellery. The main themes of the five exhibitions are contemporary trends in design, art and industry. Four of them will open to visitors with a joint opening on Thursday 14 May.



Under the title TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION, visitors can view products from 50 companies, glassworks, brands and studios from four European countries. THE PATH TO THE STARS will showcase artistic and art-design objects by Dominika Petrtýlová, Johan Pertl and Vlastimil Šenkýř, three prominent figures of the emerging generation of glass artists. In the permanent glass exhibition, you will find BOROSILICATE GLASS – products from Czech companies that manufacture or process this now highly popular material. The permanent exhibition of Christmas decorations has been expanded for the Triennial to include the results of the 2nd International Symposium, which has produced three entirely new collections of Christmas decorations.



The museum invites you to the exhibition opening on Thursday 14 May at 5 pm. Musician Lenka Morávková and her original Bohemia Cristal Instrument will provide an extraordinary artistic experience.
