Description of the event
A lecture by Radim Štích, castellan of Valdštejn Castle, presents the history of the Valdštejn family and their long-term influence on the Czech lands. It focuses not only on well-known personalities and key historical events, but also on everyday life, estate management and the legacy that the Valdštejns left behind in the landscape and cultural memory of the region. The lecture offers a fascinating view of history in a broader context and is intended for anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Valdštejn Castle and the noble family with which it is inextricably linked.
