Witches in the Museum, or Before the Lanterns Come Out!

Come along on the afternoon of Wednesday 29 April to the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec to get in the mood for the upcoming Valpružina Night. You’ll make lanterns for Thursday’s witch parade around the reservoir, and you’ll also find out how the bear cubs are getting ready for the festivities.

From 12 noon until 6 pm, there will be a family arts and crafts workshop where children can decorate their lanterns using stones and beads. The lanterns will be available to purchase directly at the museum. From 3.30 pm, they can look forward to a fairy tale by the Rolnička Theatre , *The Magic Broom*, which tells the story of how the bear cubs prepared for Walpurgis Night. The performance will take place exceptionally in the glass annex.

Come and enjoy a creative afternoon, a fairy tale and a pleasant atmosphere, and get ready together with the museum for one of the most magical nights of the year! Admission to the entire programme is free.
