Easter holidays at the museum

The State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou invites families with children to enjoy an Easter holiday full of fun creative activities! From 2 to 5 April, between 10 am and 5 pm each day, every visitor to the museum’s workshop will be able to make a unique spring decoration.

Activities include decorating glass eggs and making glittering butterflies.“We want to show visitors that Easter traditions can be interestingly combined with the local costume jewellery craft,” says museum educator Dana Křivánková, inviting people to the event. Experienced instructors will help both children and adults create original pieces to take home as a lovely keepsake.

In addition to the craft workshops, visitors of all ages can liven up their holiday visit with fun quizzes, and entertainment will also be provided in the museum park, which features children’s play elements inspired by glass and jewellery.

Throughout the event, the museum will be open from 10 am to 5 pm; the last admission to the workshops will be at 4.30 pm.
