Description of the event
Please accept our invitation to Tyršovy sady, where a concert by the Roman Pokorný Trio will take place on Sunday 26 July from 3 pm. Roman Pokorný is a leading Czech jazz guitarist, composer, singer and winner of numerous music awards. He has collaborated with many leading figures in Czech and Slovak music across genres and generations, such as Emil Viklický, Juraj Bartoš and Štěpán Markovič, or Roman Dragoun and Michal Pavlíček, as well as American musicians including Steve Clarke, Chris Stanley and Michito Sanchez.
In Jablonec, his Trio will perform with Roman Pokorný on guitar, Stanislav Mácha on piano and Tomáš Baroš on double bass. In this line-up, the group is also recording an album dedicated to Charlie Parker in February, which they are sure to present, at least in part.
The event is part of the 12th edition oftheJablonecké tónyfestival.

The concert is organised by Kultura Jablonec, p. o. with the support of the statutory city of Jablonec nad Nisou.
