Description of the event
Accept our invitation to Tyršovy sady, where a concert by the Roman Pokorný Trio jazz ensemble will take place on Sunday, 26 July, starting at 3 p.m. Roman Pokorný is a leading Czech jazz guitarist, composer, singer and winner of many music awards. He has collaborated with many leading Czech and Slovak musicians across genres and generations, such as Emil Viklický, Juraj Bartoš and Štěpán Markovič, Roman Dragoun and Michal Pavlíček, as well as American musicians such as Steve Clarke, Chris Stanley, Michito Sanchez and others.
In Jablonec, his trio will perform with Roman Pokorný on guitar, Stanislav Mácha on piano, and Tomáš Baroš on double bass. In this line-up, the group is also recording an album dedicated to Charlie Parker in February, which they will certainly present at least in part.
The event is part of the 12th annualJablonecké tónyfestival.
Admission is free.
The concert is organised by Kultura Jablonec, p. o. with the support of the statutory city of Jablonec nad Nisou.
