Description of the place
You can find followers of Tyrš’s sporting tradition in almost every town. In its day, the Jablonec Sokol hall was one of the largest gymnasiums in Bohemia! It is surrounded by the spacious Tyrš Park with a gazebo (Bráth’s Pavilion), for which the local Beautification Society purchased the land as early as 1884. To this day, it serves as a place for relaxation and occasionally hosts cultural, sporting or social events. It is located in the town centre – 150 metres from the terminus of the tram line from Liberec and 500 metres from the railway station.
