Django Always

Head to Tyršovy sady on Sunday 12 July, where an energetic concert by the band Django Always awaits you from 3 pm. This dynamic Prague-based gypsy jazz ensemble is led by the young virtuoso Tschavol “Carlit” Vlasák, who will perform on solo guitar. He will be accompanied on rhythm guitar by his father, Karel Vlasák Sr., and on bass guitar by Luboš Svoboda.

The event is part of the 12th edition oftheJablonecké tónyfestival.

The band Django Always is one of the leading acts on the Czech gypsy jazz scene. The trio focuses on the music of Django Reinhardt and delivers authentic hot gypsy jazz that pays tribute to the legendary composer and guitarist. Their energetic, technically precise yet soulful performance appeals to audiences not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad – they have performed at jazz festivals in Germany, Poland, Belgium and Slovakia. The trio’s unique melodies and virtuoso playing create an unforgettable atmosphere that draws you into the magical world of gypsy music.

Since 2018, they have been regular guests at the Django Reinhardt Festival in Hildesheim, Germany, and in 2019 they released their debut album “Django Always – Back to the Roots”.
