Be creative with Libuše Dlabola Pražáková

A painter who devotes her painting cycles to relational anchoring in her microcosm – women – mothers – artists – wives, but at the same time opens up broader social and universal themes. She seeks to explore the very essence of what it means to be human in this often harsh but devastatingly beautiful world. With sensitive but unsentimental language, she documents and comments on relationships, interpersonal interactions, moments of suspended time, family happiness, dialogues, conflicts, cries of despair, reconciliation, and hope. He searches for visual signs and symbols to capture impressions of humanity, kindness, tenderness, connection, coexistence, or simple existence in everyday objects, in the landscape and in the faces of his loved ones or himself. With her unorthodox experimental painting approaches, she transcends the boundaries of painting, creating a richly shaped and colourful background grid in which she places her characters or fragments of them. The simplified shape structure then shifts these characters towards the objectification of the story. In this way, she succeeds in capturing something of the reflection of the collective past or present projected onto the canvas of individual memory.
