MAREK LAVKO – ICONS ON CANVAS – OPENING RECEPTION

He pours acrylic paints from pots or tins onto the canvas until he achieves the final form of the painting.

The exhibition entitled ICONS ON CANVAS is a cross-section of his work, using painting techniques, combined techniques and an original technique of layering by pouring, all acrylic on canvas.

It illustrates a tribute and memory to world icons Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Audrey Hepburn, but also the Czech personality Tomáš G. Masaryk.

The exhibition also features paintings of Ještěd and Liberec Town Hall, which are landmarks of the Liberec Region.
