Dance, dance... 2025

39. national showcase of stage dance for young people and adults Dance, Dance... 2025 (CP) will take place in Jablonec nad Nisou for the twenty-third time from 31 October to 2 November.

This year's show programme will offer the general public a rich mosaic of creative work in the field of stage dance. Twenty-six contemporary Czech choreographies will be presented, which audiences will see in two composed evenings – 31 October and 1 November. Both evenings will begin at 6 p.m. in the Church of St. , followed by the main programme at the Municipal Theatre at 7 p.m. .

From the local dance groups, the Magdaléna Dance and Movement Studio will perform a trio of works: Uncomfortable Conformity by Marie Anna Kopáňko Herderová, Anna Benháková's Breath of Venus, and Ludmila Rellichová's Silence Silently Washing the Edge of My Soul. Also featured will be choreography by Petra Endlerová and the dance group Parau Parau. The Sunday programme, Dance Awarded (2 November at 1:00 p.m.),

The Sunday programme, Dance Awarded (2 November at 1:00 p.m.), will feature a performance from the 2024 City of Dance Award residency, which was won by TS Puls SVČ Opava, led by Eva Vondálová. This will be followed by the announcement of the 2025 City of Dance Award, which will symbolically conclude this year's national showcase.
