Opening: The Enchantment of 20th Century Cars

We cordially invite you to the foyer of the Eurocentrum in Jablonec for the opening of a new exhibition of photographs of vintage cars. The opening will take place in the presence of Jičín native, documentary filmmaker, cameraman, director and photographer Petr Volf at 5 p.m.

Petr Volf (born in 1940 in Jičín) is a graduate of FAMU (1964). In the 1960s, he worked at Krátký film Praha, where he shot unique footage of Prague in August 1968. Later, he devoted himself to films about architecture, fine arts and travel expeditions from Spitsbergen to Siberia. After 1989, he shot independent documentaries, then went into business and finally returned to photography. Today he lives in Jičín, devoting himself to landscapes and historic cars, which his sons restore. The exhibition presents a selection of his work.

The exhibition will be open every weekday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
