Description of the event
The band minus123minut, Meandry and Jan Petrýdes will perform as part of the club festival across jazz with the age-old name SKRZJAZZFEST.
Minus123minut are unique in the intensity and energy of their concerts, which are largely made up of improvisation.
They combine genres such as soul, groove, jazz, blues, funky or world music. And because, as they say, they are not overgrown with moss, they are also open to the influences of contemporary music.
Not only does he dance well to the minute-long pelmel, but since they are exceptional musicians, he also looks at them well.
The band consists of a trio of renowned musicians:
singer, guitarist, author of songs and Czech lyrics Zdeněk Bína,
bassist and author of English lyrics Fredrik Janáček
and the exceptional drummer Dano Šoltis.
Minus123minut received the Anděl award for Discovery of the Year in 1999. In the following years, they were nominated twice for this award. As one of the few domestic groups, "Minuty" also celebrated success abroad, where they played around two hundred concerts in clubs and festivals (Holland, Poland, France, Slovakia, USA or England). This year, they will gradually introduce new releases from the forthcoming album.
