BRAIN & BREAKFAST: Pavla Hubálková: Look for the reason behind everything

Live stream of Pavla Hubálková’s online lecture

How many Czech scientists – both men and women – do you know? And why do we often hear less about their achievements than about those of sportspeople or singers? Yet science influences our everyday lives and helps us find answers to the important questions of our time. Why does it still face prejudice and misinformation? In what ways does Czech science excel, and why do we need more women in it? We invite you to the Jablonec nad Nisou Municipal Library for a live stream of an online lecture by science journalist Pavla Hubálková, who writes for WIRED.CZ, presents the programme ‘Žárovky’ on Czech Radio, and is the author of the book *Invisible Women in Science*.
