Charleston with Áňa | Workshop for beginners

Fancy experiencing the jazz dance craze of wild New York in the last century? What made Harlem go wild at night, and what laid the foundations for all modern dance styles?🔥💃

The Charleston isn’t just a fussy little dance, but a force of nature – a fast tempo in your feet, tears of joy and sweat.💦😁 Don’t worry, we’ll take it easy, but you’ll see that it won’t leave you standing in the corner.

In the workshop, we’ll learn the basic steps, how to dance freely, and how to work with the music – and of course, there’ll be spins too. You’ll learn to dance solo, in pairs and in a group.💃🕺👯‍♀️

The workshop will be followed by a dance party, where you can try everything out at your own pace and get to know some more ‘seasoned’ dancers.

🗓️When: 4 November 2026 | 7.00 pm–8.30 pm 📍Where: Caffé Defilé | Jablonec nad Nisou 💰Price: 280 Kč ✍️Registration form: https://forms.gle/RJz31EfNrqJQhtKy5

The workshop will go ahead provided there are at least 6 participants. Registration required.⚠️

What to wear: comfortable clothes and trainers (you don’t need a boa or a feather in your hair :-)))
