Traces of Jablonec in the rescue of the reliquary of St Maurus

A Romanesque goldsmith’s artefact of inestimable cultural value was discovered forty years ago. Its journey through the centuries is an adventurous tale, and its rescue was no less captivating. The ‘Jablonec Traces’ series will feature restorer Andrej Šumbera and jeweller Vladimír Komňacký, graduates of the Jablonec School of Applied Arts, who were involved in the restoration and craftsmanship work on the reliquary.
