GALAXY DANCE COMPETITION

The Galaxy Dance Competition is an international dance event which was founded in Egypt in 2024 by professional Egyptian organisers and is now expanding into Europe. The competition brings together talented dancers, prestigious dance schools and renowned international judges to celebrate outstanding achievements in dance.

The organising team consists of Egyptians and foreign nationals from several different countries. The founder and promoter of the competition is Mr Hazem Zakaria, director and choreographer of the Academia de danza On Stage, based in Palma, Mallorca.

Our vision is to help this event grow and, together, turn it into one of the most significant dance gatherings in the region around the Czech Republic.

We would like to open our doors to dancers and dance schools from across Europe, inviting them to come to the Czech Republic and create an international platform where different countries can come together, share their artistry and celebrate dance together.

We believe that this event could become an exceptional cultural occasion that connects Europe through dance.

This year’s edition represents a new step for the Czech Republic in building a global platform that connects dancers from Europe, the Middle East and other parts of the world.

Our mission is to create opportunities for young dancers through professional competitions, scholarships and artistic exchanges. Thanks to its high-calibre organisation, international judges and participants from many countries, GalaxyDance Competitions aims to become one of the most influential dance events in the region.

The year 2026 brings a significant event and, at the same time, a great honour for the ILMA AGENCY s. r. o. arts agency, led by Mgr. Ilona Šulcová. The agency is becoming the official organiser of the prestigious international dance competition GDC – GALAXY DANCE COMPETITION in the Czech Republic, thereby taking on the honourable role of introducing it to the Czech dance scene.
