Week of Prayer for the Blessing of the City and the Region

From Monday to Friday, participating churches and congregations are holding joint gatherings with prayers and petitions for the healing of our town and region’s past. The concluding ecumenical blessing is traditionally given from the cross on Královka.

Fri 18 Sept from 5 pm Roman Catholic Church, by the cross on Královka (above Bedřichov)

The tradition of these joint ecumenical prayers began in 2008, a year after a large wooden cross was erected in a meadow by the roadside near the Královka Lookout Tower, thanks to the efforts of the former owner.
