TEST – Week of Prayer for the Blessing of the City and Region

Description of the event

From Monday to Friday, joint meetings are being held in participating churches and congregations, with prayers and petitions for the healing of our town and region’s past.

Mon 15 Sept from 6 pm Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren

Tuesday 16 September from 6 pm Orthodox Church, Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God, Vrkoslavice

Wed 17 Sept from 6 pm Czechoslovak Hussite Church, Dr Farský Church, Dr Farský Square

Thu 18 Sept from 6 pm Good News Christian Congregation, prayer hall, Podhorská 4454/66a

Fri 19 Sept from 7 pm Roman Catholic Church, by the cross on Královka (above Bedřichov)

The tradition of these joint ecumenical prayers began in 2008, a year after a large wooden cross was erected in a meadow by the roadside near the Královka Lookout Tower, thanks to the efforts of the former owner.
