Description of the event
We Understand Each Other – A World of Sound and Silence
An introduction to the services provided by the organisation Tichý svět, o. p. s. A small exhibition of specialised and assistive devices for people with hearing impairments. A Czech sign language workshop.
The public will learn about the different types of hearing impairment, the options available to compensate for this impairment, and other aids that make life easier for people with hearing impairments. Participants will be offered basic social counselling and will have the opportunity to try out the basics of Czech sign language. The event is organised by Tichý svět, o. p. s.
The event is taking place as part of Social Services Week.
