Description of the event
Discover the uniqueness of our town in a fun way and take home a decoration you’ve made yourself. This time we’ll be focusing on Jablonec’s landmark – our Mšeno Dam, an oasis of relaxation at the foot of the Jizera Mountains.
You will try your hand at the technique of burning designs into plywood using a template and create your own graphic print featuring our “sea”.
The event is part of the year-round series of workshops “Jablonec and its Phenomena” led by instructor Pavel Zícha.
The workshop is open to artists of all ages, from 9 to 99. It takes place on Saturday 10 October in the attic of the Jana and Josef V. Scheybal House, from 9 am to 5 pm in two-hour sessions. Each session has a capacity of 15 people; advance booking is required.
Tickets:
150 CZK / person / session
Tickets can be booked on the website wwww.kulturajablonec.cz orat the Eurocentrum Jablonec ticket office.
The creative workshop is organised by the Tourist Information Centre in Jablonec nad Nisou (Kultura Jablonec, p. o.). It is being held to mark the 160th anniversary of Jablonec’s elevation to town status as part of the “Jablonec and its Phenomena” project, with financial support from the Liberec Region.
