Emergency Services Day 2026

On Thursday 25 June, the 19th annual Integrated Rescue System (IZS) Day will take place. From 9 am to 4 pm, you will have the opportunity to meet those who look after our safety, health and lives all year round. This year, the event will once again be held at Tajvana near the Jablonec Dam.

Session I 9.00 – Opening ceremony: the mayor and representatives of the IZS units 9.15 – Rýnovice Prison – demonstration of service dog handling 9.30 – Rýnovice Prison – neutralisation of an attack on an escort 9.45 – Jizerské hory Mountain Rescue Service – rescue of a paraglider from the treetops 10.00 – Czech Police – demonstration of riot police operations 10.15 – Czech Police – demonstration of service dog training 10.30 – Jablonec nad Nisou Hospital – moderated presentation (Dr Cyril Matějka) 10.45 – Czech Red Cross – working with children 11.00 – Liberec Region Fire and Rescue Service – service dog unit, rubble search 11.15 – Jablonec nad Nisou Municipal Police – apprehension of a dangerous offender 11.30 – Czech Police – demonstration of service horse training 11.45 – Integrated Rescue System – rescue of persons from an overturned raft 12.00 – End of Block I

The event is held under the patronage of the statutory city of Jablonec nad Nisou. The event is coordinated by the Crisis Management Department.
