LIP-READING WORKSHOP

Do you have hearing difficulties and find it hard to understand others during everyday conversation? Lip-reading can be a skill that will help you significantly in these situations. At our workshop, we will guide you through learning and developing this skill. You can look forward to practical lip-reading training, memory exercises and an introduction to the finger alphabet. Research shows that hearing loss is significantly linked to an increased risk of dementia. Our aim is therefore to encourage older people to actively address their hearing difficulties, support their involvement in social life and help maintain a high quality of life through better communication with those around them.
