Jablonec and its phenomena: Jablonec Art Nouveau

Jablonec nad Nisou is not only a city of glass and costume jewellery, but also a unique open-air architectural gallery. Join us on a walk through the town centre and the urban landscape. We will explore the developmental stages of Jablonec Art Nouveau – from its beginnings, influenced by historicist styles, through pure Art Nouveau to its later geometric form, which reflected emerging modern trends. You will discover the beauty of the building façades that you may walk past every day without noticing.

We’ll meet on Monday 7 September at 4 pm in front of St Anne’s Church. The walk will last approximately 90 minutes.
