LEPENICE FROM VANDRU AND THE WORLD

His work is created using the classic technique of cutting and pasting from magazines. He calls his collages "lepence" (paste-ups). They are colourful, layered and full of symbolism. He finds inspiration everywhere around him, in current world events, politics, films, books and everyday situations. Each paste-up tells its own story. Sometimes with exaggeration, sometimes poetically, sometimes slightly provocatively. But always in a distinctive and authentic way. Benja is a passionate tramp who regularly sets off on hikes. Freedom, the landscape and observing the world from a distance are strongly reflected in his work. Come and see for yourself and let yourself be drawn into the colourful world of lepenice.
