PAVLA BIČÍKOVÁ - STORIES FROM THE JIZERA RIVER

We will travel together through the Jizera Mountains, Podkrkonoší, Bohemian Paradise, Mladá Boleslav and Dolní Pojizeří. We will visit unique natural attractions and historical monuments around the river. Extinct crafts, abandoned factories, and new hydroelectric power plants will tell us their stories. We will uncover some of the hidden corners of the Pojizeří region.

Traveller and photographer Pavla Bičíková Pavla Bičíková is an enthusiastic photographer and traveller. She often sets off with her camera to Bohemian Paradise, the Krkonoše Mountains or the Jizera Mountains. Her camera is also an integral part of her backpack when travelling around the world. Since 2012, she has been sharing her travel experiences in travel lectures, which have been seen by thousands of viewers. In addition to travel photography, her domain is landscape photography. She is a member of the Fpět photography group. She has had dozens of photography exhibitions and has won numerous awards (e.g. the Czech Photographers' Association Award in the 2023 National Photography Competition, nomination for Travel Photography in 2023 in the H+Z competition). Her photographs can also be seen in several photography publications.
