Michal Němec, leader of the legendary band Jablkoň, and four young musicians have formed a new band, contributing to the diversity of music full of delicate songs, blues rock dynamics and, at times, punk roughness.

A wide range of genres, alternating between Czech and English, plenty of space for the vocalist, and the sound of guitars and electronics all give Krajina Ró an immense freshness. The initial impulse was Němec's meeting with composer andtalented guitaristTomáš Frolík. Two different worlds quickly found common ground, and soon after, two other members of Frolík's band The BladderStones joined the party:provenbass guitarist Johnny Judl Jr.(who also plays in Jablkoni) andexcellent drummer Michael Nosek. Meanwhile, Němec's niece,the distinctive singer and actress AnnaBřenková, joined the band. It was the summer of 2019, and Krajina Ró began working on their first album. Under the experienced production supervision of Ondřej Ježek at the Jámor studio, the band recorded eleven original songs. The album was namedHOTEL BLÁZEN. It should be added that it was released right at the start of lockdown, which meant a ban on just about everything. Although this slowed down the new band, it did not stop them, and in the spring of 2023, Krajina Ró recorded another album of original songs calledMLHOVINY. The second album came into being in a similar way to the first, but it is a few years more polished and powerful. Ondřej Ježek also showed that you don't have to fly to America to get a beautiful sound on your recordings. Krajina RÓ played at Klub Na Rampě in December 2021 and March 2023, and it was a great experience!
