O. J. ŽLÁBEK BAND

O.J. Žlábek has been active mainly on the Prague blues scene since 2018. In 2023, he won the Czech Blues Challenge competition, qualifying for the European Blues Challenge 2024 in Portugal. The band performed there among the best blues bands in Europe and represented the Czech Republic. With Ondřej Žlábek (harmonica), Jiří Maršíček (electric guitar), Jan Svorník (bass) and Marcus Jurkovič (drums) in the line-up, Ondřej recorded his debut album "Give Someone a Little Hug". He launched it in April 2025 at Jazz Dock in Prague together with other guests with whom he has played over the years: Jan Kořínek, Marcel Flemr, and Osian Roberts.
