Description of the event
We invite you to a new exhibition by students of the art department of our art school, which you can visit in the stairwell of the Municipal Library in Jablonec nad Nisou. Come and see how colours and shapes come to life in the hands of art school students! Location: Municipal Library in Jablonec nad Nisou (staircase area) Date: 2 March – 29 May 2026 Open: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
What will you see at the exhibition? The exhibition presents a wide range of graphic techniques and approaches by pupils of the Art School aged 7 to 18. You can look forward to:
- Classic linocut (relief printing)
- Precise drypoint (intaglio printing)
- Experimental prints of collaged structures
The exhibited works are not limited to a single theme – they reflect playfulness, experimentation and an effort to achieve realistic and descriptive expression. For our pupils, graphic art is part of a broader creative process, where they try out different ways of capturing the world around us.
We look forward to your visit and believe that the works of our young graphic artists will inspire you!
