Easter celebrations

From Wednesday 1st to Friday 3rd April, head to the centre of Jablonec nad Nisou and enjoy traditional town festivities celebrating spring and folk traditions. Markets with a wide range of Easter goods, handicrafts and various dishes await you. Look forward to a daily folklore programme full of music, dance and theatre performances. If the weather is nice, you can go in search of the Easter Bunny's secrets, and there will also be Easter workshops.

Easter treasure hunt for the secret of the Easter Bunny

Thursday, 2 April, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday, 3 April, 9:00 a.m.–5:00p.m. An educational and entertaining trail through the centre of Jablonec, starting at the Ekocentrum The event is organised by DDM Vikýř.

Easter workshops at the Ekocentrum

Thursday, 2 April, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday, 3 April, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Making Easter decorations from natural materials, painting eggs using traditional techniques, weaving Easter whips, free admission. The event is organised by DDM Vikýř.

Easter art workshops at the Municipal Library

Wednesday, 1 April, 12:30 p.m.–5:00p.m. Thursday, 2 April, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:30–5:00 p.m. Easter crafts for children in the children's library lobby, free admission. The event is organised by the Jablonec nad Nisou Municipal Library.

Shop at the rich Easter markets, where you will find not only quality regional products and original gifts, but also lots of traditional and non-traditional delicacies, colourful decorations and spring inspiration.
