We will start from the bustling city of Hanoi, where life moves "on two wheels". We will travel north through rice fields and picturesque tea plantations. We will visit Vietnam's highest mountain range with the famous mountain resort of SaPa, wait for the renowned Sunday markets in the town of BacHa, which are bursting with colourful costumes from many mountain tribes, and we will also reach the Vietnamese-Chinese Ban Gioc waterfalls. We will definitely not miss the UNESCO-protected area of coastal cliffs and rock formations near the town of HaLong, nor will we forgive ourselves for not visiting one of the former capitals of the ancient empire of HoaLu and sailing on the "submerged karst rivers" of TamCoc and TrangAn. You will discover that the people of Vietnam are not only traders, as we know them from home, but also very hard-working farmers, skilled weavers and craftsmen, as well as friendly hosts and companions.
