St. Martin's Day celebrations

We invite you to an autumn event, which will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the square in front of the Central Shopping Centre. You can look forward to a varied programme: a performance by the medieval band Duro Nux, a Parau parau dance with a story about Saint Martin, a performance by Malé Nisanky and a performance by the Jen tak association. Saint Martin will also arrive on a white horse with his squires, who will come from Mírové náměstí (Peace Square) – you can join the procession too. Saint Martin and his entourage will set off from the town hall at 4 p.m. Throughout the event, there will be stalls on the square offering refreshments, handmade products from sheltered workshops and demonstrations of traditional crafts.
