Description of the event

On the occasion of the Glassmakers' Week project, the museum prepared a separate programme as part of the celebrations of the International Day for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (celebrated from 17 October 2024) and as a reminder of the inscription ofhandmadhttps://www.msb-jablonec.cz/akce/vikend-kristaloveho-udoli-2025glass production on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2023), the museum has prepared a separate programme.

Films on the theme of glassmaking will be screened throughout the day on Friday, 17 October, directly in the museum premises. Admission to the entire museum is free.

The project will coincide with Crystal Valley Weekend in the following days.

The event is held under the auspices of the Czech UNESCO Commission.
