Harry Potter music by candlelight

On Thursday, 9 October, at 7 p.m., Eurocentrum Jablonec will host a piano concert featuring music from all the Harry Potter films. The evening atmosphere will be enhanced by the light of hundreds of candles, transforming the space into a place full of mystery and magic.

The programme includes a selection of compositions arranged for solo piano, featuring music by five-time Oscar winner John Williams and other composers from the film series: Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat, also an Oscar winner.

The piano will be played by leading Czech pianist Alexandr Starý. As part of the European tour, František Panáček and Lucie Kubátová will also take turns at the piano for some concerts.

The concert will be performed on a C. Bechstein D 282 instrument – the organiser would like to thank C. Bechstein (www.bechstein.com) for their support and for lending this concert piano.

Concert duration: 90 minutes without intermission
