Jablonec suburbs – Rýnovice and Lukášov

The popular guided walks around Jablonec will continue in 2025! Your guide will be Lubor Lacina, curator of the North Bohemian Museum. Do you know how rich and interesting the history of Rýnovice and Lukášov is? Come with us to discover the forgotten stories of these places, which once prided themselves on their independence, and walk in the footsteps of their past.

The walks focus on exploring the suburbs of Jablonec nad Nisou, formerly independent municipalities that were incorporated into the city during the socialist era. Along the route, there will be stories about the history of the neighbourhood with stops at specific monuments. The estimated length of the walks is approximately 2 km, with extended options of approximately 3 km (listed in brackets in the schedule). The walks involve a significant elevation gain and take place on paved paths and city streets. The estimated duration is 2-3 hours, depending on the course of the event and the interest of the participants.

House of Czech-German Understanding – minor monuments in the area – Church of the Holy Spirit – cemetery – Stará osada housing estate – Lukášov monument (remains of artillery fortifications)

Tickets can only be purchased online in advance or at the Eurocentrum reception desk from add date. Tickets are sold via the E-vstupenka portal and at E-vstupenka sales points until 12 noon on the day of the tour. After 12 noon, it is no longer possible to purchase tickets for the tour taking place on that day. The maximum capacity of the tour is 25 people.
