Description of the place

Concert hall at the headquarters of the elementary art school, a contributory organisation, at Podhorská 47, Jablonec nad Nisou.
The building was constructed in 1926–1927 and, from 1928, began to serve as the district office and for district council meetings. It was designed by Robert Hemmrich in 1924. The ceremonial meeting hall also served as a venue for municipal cultural events.
The front of the hall is decorated with a triptych of paintings by Jizera Mountains painter Eduard Enzmann (1882–1965). The central motif depicts Malá Jizerská louka (Small Jizera Meadow), while the smaller painting on the left shows Josefův Důl with the Josefodolská vyhlídka (Josefův Důl Viewpoint) and the one on the right shows Jablonec nad Nisou with Černá studnice (Black Spring). Eduard Enzmann, who was living in Jizerka at the time, created it for this hall on commission in 1927.
