Description of the place

The Magdaléna Dance and Movement Studio was founded in 1998 by Ludmila Rellichová. The studio focuses on educational and artistic work in the field of creative dance and drama education for children aged 4 and above. The studio's work is aimed at developing children's personalities, individuality and talent. It focuses on stage dance, dance and movement theatre and pantomime. Around 200 pupils and students are currently enrolled in the dance studio. The studio has one group of students aged 13 to 15 and one group of adults over 20.

Teaching at the studio is based on a synthesis of movement, music, literary-dramatic and art education, which leads pupils and students to independent creative and interpretative work. The creative and artistic projects are always based on the work of the pupils and students themselves, their individuality and their own artistic expression. TS students and pupils participate in national shows in Kutná Hora, Ústí nad Orlicí, Kolín, Jablonec nad Nisou, Hronov and other dance and theatre festivals.
