Description of the place

The MY Town Gallery operates an exhibition hall on the first floor of a historic house, which was built as a rectory at the Church of St. Anne and after reconstruction, it is called the House of Jana and Josef Václav Scheybal.
The gallery was established in the early 1990s. It changed various exhibition spaces and for more than fifteen years it was located in the ground floor of the Jablonec Town Hall.
It focuses mainly on the presentation of fine art from the region of Northeast Bohemia. In addition to solo exhibitions and collective presentations of living artists, it presents the work of painters, sculptors, architects and photographers who are no longer alive. It also regularly organises historical or local history themed exhibitions.
The gallery is run with the support of the Statutory Town of Jablonec nad Nisou.
