Description of the place

The Srnčí důl outdoor sports complex (also known as the Health Complex) is unique among sports facilities in the country due to its location in the countryside. It was built between 1976 and 1978 thanks to sports enthusiasts who volunteered thousands of hours of their time. There are running tracks (including a 1 km circuit), a softball pitch, and areas for high jumpers, long jumpers, javelin throwers, and even discus and hammer throwers.

A nine-hole disc golf course has also recently been established here.

The forest sports ground, for which the founders drew inspiration from Finland, was the pride of Jablonec’s athletes. The greenery, criss-crossed by streams, is also appreciated by mothers with children and dog walkers. There is also a public fire pit here.

The complex is located directly below the Kaufland shopping centre.
