Description of the place

The original building from the 1970s was originally used as a medical facility for local sports clubs. Over time, it lost its beauty and began to deteriorate.

After many years of searching for suitable premises for the popular martial art of judo, the city came up with the idea of placing an arena for young judokas in an extension to the original dilapidated building. This idea gave rise to a spacious extension consisting of wooden trusses and a magnificent view of the Ještěd ridge. The extension also features a connecting neck, which is elegantly hidden behind aluminium sunshades. The two existing floors have also been renovated, with the first floor housing a gym and exercise rooms and the second floor housing changing rooms and office space.
