Description of the place

You can find followers of Tyrš's sporting tradition in almost every town. The Jablonec Sokol Hall was one of the largest gymnasiums in Bohemia in its day! It is surrounded by the spacious Tyrš Park with a gazebo (Bráth's Pavilion), for which the local beautification association purchased the land back in 1884. To this day, it serves as a place for relaxation and occasionally hosts cultural, sporting and social events. It is located in the city centre, 150 metres from the tram terminus from Liberec and 500 metres from the railway station.
